Go Anyway!

For all the miles I’ve traveled, this will be my first trip as a Solo Traveler. And if I’m being completely transparent, it’s a "little" outside of my comfort zone.

I’m used to having someone beside me ~ someone to navigate the airport with, share a meal with, laugh with when things don’t go quite as planned, and turn to when you see something incredible and say, “Can you believe this?”

So, why now?  Because an opportunity arose.  The timing was right. The destination was calling. I decided maybe now was the time to step outside my comfort zone and simply GO.

And that got me thinking...How Often Do We Wait?

How many of us have a place we would love to visit but find ourselves saying:  “I’d love to go, but I don’t have anyone to go with.”

Maybe our spouse doesn’t enjoy traveling. Maybe our friends have different schedules, budgets or bucket lists. Maybe life circumstances have changed.  So, we wait...And wait. But, what if we didn't?

What if we stopped waiting for someone else's schedule to line up with ours and gave ourselves permission to say YES when an opportunity comes along?

What if we just...

Go Anyway.

That’s what I’m doing.

For my first solo adventure, I'm heading West to experience Utah's Mighty Five ~ the five spectacular National Parks of Arches, Bryce Canyon, Canyonlands, Capitol Reef, and Zion on a Cosmos Group Tour.
