August 2013 was the first time since we were 5-year-olds that we didn't experience the thrill of “going back to school.” After very rewarding 30+ year careers in education, we both decided to “graduate” with the class of 2013.
Now, some would call it retiring, but those that know us well know that we thrive on a challenge, and that we would find a second career that encompassed our love of travel. As fellow "graduates" and good friends, we decided to use our research and organizational skills, as well as our love of finding "bargains", and we joined forces in purchasing and building our GetAway Vaca Franchise. Between the two of us, we have traveled far and wide ~ including the Caribbean, Europe, Scandinavia, the Baltic, Australia, Asia, Canada and all 50 United States!
We are privileged to have a wonderful team of Vacation Specialists, each dedicated to providing quality and professional advice in helping others plan their GetAway Vaca.
